Dallas International University (DIU) is authorized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) to offer online educational opportunities to students residing in Texas and to students outside of the state of Texas based on our membership in SARA (The State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement). This agreement among member states, districts and territories establishes comparable standards for interstate offering of post-secondary distance education courses and programs. SARA is overseen by a National Council (NC-SARA) and administered by four regional education compacts.
