She has judged at the Philadelphia Flower Show as well as at the Junior Group of the Dallas Garden Club and the Marianne Scruggs Garden Club. As President of the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden, Nancy conceived and established a new project for the Arboretum: a literary symposium and book review series called “A Writer’s Garden Literary Luncheon” an event that has continued for twelve years. She is a member of the Designers & Diggers Garden Study Club and was President of the Junior League of Dallas Garden Club.
