Dallas International began classes in Fall 1999, with 62 students, and presented its first graduating class in 2000. David Ross served as Dallas International’s President since its inception. In recognition of Dr. Marvin K. Mayers’, teaching, writing, research and visionary leadership in the field of anthropology studies, the Board of Trustees of the Dallas International University (Dallas International), established the Marvin K. Mayers Faculty Chair of Applied Anthropology in 2012.
Dallas International hosted a luncheon at the Museum of Biblical Art in Dallas honoring W.W. “Bill” Caruth III, Dallas International’s Board of Trustees Chairman. Bill was honored for his long time of service to Dallas International. He has been a part of Dallas International’s board since its founding fifteen years ago and was elected chairman in 2001. His unwavering support has been instrumental to Dallas International’s success.
