Announcement: The Eighth Annual DFW mini-conference will be hosted by Dallas International on Friday, 21 October 2016, in the Activity Center on the Dallas International Campus. It is a full day’s event, featuring talks and posters by students and faculty members from the four participating schools (Dallas International, UNT, UTA, and TAMUC) in any linguistic subfield. The conference serves as a platform for area linguists to exchange ideas, disseminate research results, and foster a sense of community. There are no plans to publish the proceedings, so scholars are invited to present findings on work in progress, as well as more finalized results.
Lunch and coffee break snacks will be provided. Registration will begin at 8:30 A.M.
