No. By procedure, all DIU students are admitted as “non-degree seeking” students. It is only after the Intended Plan of Study (IPS) is worked out with an Academic Advisor– and the Advisor, Department Head, and Dean of Academic Affairs have signed the IPS form outlining the plan–that DIU will recognize a student as being enrolled in a particular degree program. The student will need to file the approved IPS with the DIU registrar. The IPS should normally be completed by the end of the student’s first semester.
