JLCR is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Dallas International University.

The Journal of Language, Culture, and Religion (JLCR) is devoted to advancing research on language and culture from a broad range of academic disciplines including, but not limited to, linguistics, sociolinguistics, anthropology, semantics and pragmatics, translation and discourse, literacy, language learning, Scripture engagement, field methodology, ethnomusicology, world arts, and missiology.

Style Guidelines

All articles published in JLCR must adhere to our style guide, available here. We give preference to articles 3,000-8,000 words in length. Book reviews should not exceed 1,200 words.
