The Graduate Certificate in Arts and Trauma Healing equips students to guide others through culturally relevant artistic modalities for trauma healing. This program provides an ongoing mentored learning experience that emphasizes interpersonal skills and integrates academic learning directly into practical use.
What is it?

Program Highlights
18-hour program that includes six 3-credit courses and one 0-credit pass/fail course.
Ongoing mentored learning experience. Students will be mentored and gain experience mentoring others.
Students will design and facilitate healing groups for people who suffer from the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual effects of trauma.
Students will progress through the program over a 3-year time frame.
Field practicums completed face-to-face with designated communities.
Courses available synchronously online via Zoom with the exception of one 2-week face-to-face instensive.

**Note that this is not a program where students become licensed art therapists.

Students or professionals who want practical, hands on training on how to guide others through scripturally-based trauma healing using culturally appropriate artistic expression.
